Nope. The Hammer was a 300e with a 6.0 litre V8. This is a 500e, which was another factory supersedan, but it came later. The suspension was made by Lotus, I believe. Basically newer and more advanced. Unmolested 500e FTW!

I know most about the 2.3 16v. The 2.5 and the evolution I can talk about but since it never came to america, I have never really looked at purchasing one.
